~The Love of My Life~

Today I am dedicating my blog to my wonderful husband, Fred. This picture was taken before we got married and it is one of my favorites of us so I would like to share it with those of you that view my blog. The poem below is one that I wrote to him not long after we were married and it pretty much sums up exactly how I felt then and how I still feel now. He truly is the love of my life and it took me awhile to find him, but I finally did and I am so grateful for him and everything he does for me and for our family. He is such an incredible person in so many ways and I want him to know that I love him with all of my heart and appreciate all of the sacrifices he makes for me and all the girls. I appreciate him for how hard he works for the things that we have and I am grateful for the love that he shows me every single day. I can't imagine my life without him and all nine of our girls, and I feel so incredibly blessed to have such a beautiful family to share eternity with. I love them all so much!

Through My Eyes

My heart is simply overflowing

With the love I feel for you,

And what an incredible feeling

To know that you love me too.

I love you not only for who you are,

But for the way you make feel.

And I know without a single doubt

Our love is genuine and real.

You are such an amazing person,

And through my eyes I see,

A man that's as close to perfect

As I think someone could be.

There are so many things about you

That I admire and also adore,

For you truly are the love of my life

And of that I am very sure.

I just can't help but wonder

What I did to deserve your love.

Then I think of our Heavenly Father

And the plans He had up above.

Because I honestly don't feel worthy

Of this gift He has given me.

But I'll cherish you and honor you

Through out time and eternity.
